Emily and Beatrix, Short Fiction. Imagine the animals are trying to tell you something, but you do not notice. This is the quandary of famous artists, Emily Carr and Beatrix Potter. When Beatrix arrives at Emily's home in search of Peter Rabbit, she has no idea what kind of adventure she's embarked upon. But, after being accused by Emily of stealing her paint brushes, she knows that this is a case for Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. As Woo the Monkey reveals the mystery, even the logger who is being paid by D. Trump encounters his 'good side'. In celebration of their rekindled friendship and the animals' success, Emily and Beatrix host a wondrous tea party - for the small and the 12-foot tall. ‘Emily and Beatrix’ is an original co-creation developed by Lifetime Networks 'Theatre Troupe' with the support of Delusional Studios. We embarked on the journey of filmmaking as a means of continuing to create through the COVID19 pandemic. The film evolved organically at the home where Canadian artist, Emily Carr, once lived. We are a team of neuro-diverse and neuro-typical story/script writers, actors, song writers, singers, dancers, musicians, visual artists, puppeteers, technicians, and ... This film is our call to work together and save our remaining forests.

Is it racism, and is there more? In her exploration of popular Ninja lore, Kuno finds the courage to reckon with her past. 'Kuno Sings', Canadian Premiere at the Shakti Film Festival for United Nations: International Day of the Girl Child. International Premiere: ARTS x SDGS. A festival series leading up to 2021 United Nations year of the Creative Economy for the Sustainable Development Goals. (Canada 14:59)

Academic Research - Empty Spaces in Epistemology: Perspectives of Persons Holding Doctorates on the Future of Knowledge Creation
Video Presentation: Virtual Conference
Abstract
Universities are sites of intensive formal adult education. The academic community is instrumental in the creation and dissemination of new knowledge. This study examines the perspectives of persons holding doctorates with regards to the future of knowledge creation.
The methodology and methods employed are qualitative arts-based inquiry using a new media lens. The question is: in what ways can digital images provide a platform for dialogue regarding contemporary science and contemplative practice / consciousness studies?
